Weighted Blankets
These blankets are used for children with autism spectrum disorder. 1 in 150 kids has autism and 4 out of 5 are boys. These blankets are very helpful in calming to these children and they also help them to rest at night. Please help us make these...we have a waiting list of children needing them.
You can purchase Velcro for these blankets by calling Touch Tape Inc. at 904-823-1590. You will need to tell them you are purchasing it to use for Project Linus! The order numbers for 3/4 inch wide hook and loop are as follows:
01WT020HS25
01WT020LS25
One of these numbers is for the Hook and one for the Loop...you must order both and it comes in 25 foot rolls. They charge me $8 to ship it and it is usually here in about 4 days.
