We accept several types of blankets:

• Quilts​

• Fleece (single layer, tied fringe or crochet borders)

• Knitted or Crochet Afghans (no big loops)

Additional requirements:

• They must be washable

• Handmade from new materials. No used blankets are accepted.

• Minimum size 30" x 30" and no larger than Twin Size

• NO double layered fleece.  Single layer only.

• Tied Fleece knots should not be pulled tight.  The blanket should lie flat.

• No Strong Odors including fabric softener/detergent

• No Cat or Dog Hair

• No Pins (double-check before donating)

• Do not pin notes directly onto the blankets you turn in.

• No Choking Hazards (buttons, ribbons, etc.)

• No Metalic Thread

• No Wool Fabric or Yarn

• No Large, Loopy Holes  in the Afghans. 

• No Tying Blankets with Yarn​.  You can use cotton thread.
