WHO ARE BLANKETEERS?
Blanketeers are the heart of Project Linus of Greater Kansas City. These wonderful volunteers create handmade blankets and give their time and talents to bring comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or in need of a little extra love. Our chapter is 100% volunteer-run, and every quilt, fleece blanket or Afghan we deliver carries warmth, care, and hope from the maker to the child who receives it.
We also love providing fun and meaningful ways for individuals and groups to get involved in helping local children. Together, we serve the entire Kansas City metro area — including Johnson Counties in Kansas, and Clay, Platte, and Jackson Counties in Missouri.
Jeanine Snyder stepped into the role of Chapter Coordinator in October 2025, continuing the mission of sharing love, comfort, and handmade hugs with children throughout our community.
